US Orders Americans Out Of Ukraine Immediately

United States has asked Americans in Ukraine to leave immediately due to the “increased threats of Russian military action.”
“Do not travel to Ukraine due to the increased threats of Russian military action and COVID-19; those in Ukraine should depart now via commercial or private means,” the U.S. State Department said in an advisory.
Russia has gathered tens of thousands of troops on its border with Ukraine, despite denials that it is contemplating an invasion.
The warning comes as British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned that the Ukraine conflict has escalated into “the most perilous moment” for Europe in decades.
He issued the warning as the UK’s top diplomat met with her Russian colleague, who stated that the Kremlin will not tolerate lectures from the West.
In the midst of the impasse, Russian military conducted broad drills in Belarus, north of Ukraine, as part of a buildup of over 100,000 troops that has fuelled Western fears of an invasion.
NATO’s eastern flank has also seen increased military deployments, with the United States sending soldiers to Poland and Romania.
A British Royal Air Force plane carrying 350 personnel landed in Poland on Thursday, after London’s decision to send anti-tank missiles to Ukraine to bolster its defenses.
“This is probably the most dangerous moment, I would say in the course of the next few days, in what is the biggest security crisis that Europe has faced for decades, and we’ve got to get it right,” Johnson said at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
