…By Enitan Thompson for TDPel Media. Priya Sahi, a TikTok influencer known as Queen Bee, was arrested for being drunk in charge of a vehicle in an Asda car park.
She was in her stationary Audi, which was filled with bottles of alcohol.
She continued to broadcast the incident to her followers, despite being handcuffed and arrested.
When officers pointed out the alcohol in the car, she still maintained that she was not driving and was allowed to park up and drink.
She even told one of the arresting officers to “learn English” and repeatedly claimed not to understand him.
She was subsequently charged with a racially-aggravated Section 4A Public Order Act offense.
At her trial, Sahi pleaded guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor told the court that Sahi had a previous conviction for racially-aggravated assault from 2015.
The victim in this case, PC Marcin Kozak, a Polish national who serves as a police officer, said that he “did not even feel human” after Sahi’s continuous jibes about his nationality and accent.
He added that he faces derogatory comments almost every day.
Sahi was also convicted of failing to provide a specimen of breath in relation to the incident.
The court heard that she was later arrested on suspicion of drink driving in a completely separate incident and again failed to provide.
As a result, she is currently serving two concurrent driving disqualifications and has accrued hundreds of pounds worth of fines.
Sahi’s defence solicitor said that she offers an apology to PC Kozak and that she was going through a “traumatic time” and was in a “frustrated state” explaining her thoughts live on TikTok as police officers surrounded her car.
He said that she is a single mother who is medicated for post-natal depression and anxiety.
The court imposed a fine of £80, as Sahi has limited means.
She must also pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge.
Sahi has hundreds of thousands of followers and millions of likes on TikTok.
