South Africa is in a state of collapse, has no intelligence capacity – EFF after SONA 2022

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has spoken out about the President’s State of the Nation Address (SONA). President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered the speech at City Hall in Cape Town on Thursday, February 10th.
SONA, according to the party, offered no verified remedies and served as a reminder of the “blatant incompetence of a man who makes empty promises.”
The fact is that South Africa is in a condition of collapse, according to the EFF. And that no amount of useless solidarity appeals to solve problems caused by the administration will change the country’s grim reality for the black majority.
“This dreaming president forgets that the nation he is meant to lead, has gone numb to his appeals, and fallen victim to abject poverty and hopelessness.”
The Red Berets also said it is an objective fact that there is no State Security in South Africa. This follows a report by the High Level Panel which was tasked to investigate the July unrest. The Panel found that factional warfare within the African National Congress was at the centre of the violent uprisings.
The panel also found that the State Security Agency (SSA) had warned the government about the impending violence following the conviction of Jacob Zuma in the Constitutional Court for contempt of the Zondo Commission.

“Ramaphosa has pretended to be taking matters into his own hands by placing State Security in his office, yet repeatedly shows his state has no intelligence capacity.
“This further proves the point that placing State Security in his office and in the hands of his cronies, is nothing but a way to utilise slush fund money to fund his leadership battle in the ruling party.”
