The Russian Ministry of Digital Transformation is facing an unprecedented scale of cyberattacks, the agency said.
“As of February 26, more than 50 DDoS attacks with a capacity of more than 1 TB were recorded, as well as a number of professional targeted attacks on the Gosuslug portal. All attacks are successfully repelled by security center specialists,” the report says.
“At the same time, all published information and all personal data of users are reliably protected, hackers cannot access them,” the department stressed.
On Friday, it was reported that the Anonymous hacker group had declared cyber war on Russia and claimed responsibility for the attack on the Russian RT channel. On Saturday, the RIA Novosti website was also subjected to a DDoS attack.
