In Gigil, Nakuru County, a 32-year-old lady murdered her three children before killing herself.
Moleen Akinyi, the deceased widow, poisoned her children before killing herself, according to sources.
She allegedly wrote a suicide note accusing her husband of leaving them, a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer stationed in Somalia.
In her suicide letter, she claimed that her husband had failed to provide for his family as planned.
Neighbours raised alarm following a bad stench emanating from the woman’s house, and having not seen her or her three children for three days.
Their bodies were taken to the Gilgil sub-county mortuary.
Below are photos of the deceased woman and her husband, a KDF officer, whom she blamed for abandoning her and her three kids.
