…By Jack Sylva for TDPel Media. As his eight-year tenure in office draws to a close, the outgoing Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, has made several appointments.
The governor approved the appointments of the Head of Service (HoS) and four Permanent Secretaries in a statement released by his spokesman, Yahaya Sarki, on Monday morning.
Bagudu appointed Safiyanu Garba Bena as the substantive Head of Service, with the appointment taking immediate effect.
Additionally, the governor announced the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries: Kudirat Shuaibu, Ibrahim Umar, Mustapha Tata, and Suleiman Sani Augie.
The statement emphasized that the appointments were made in preparation for the handover to Governor-elect Nasiru Idris.
The newly appointed HoS and Permanent Secretaries will play crucial roles in the administration and governance of Kebbi State.
With immediate effect, these appointments serve as one of the final actions undertaken by Governor Bagudu as he concludes his term and prepares for the transition of power to the incoming governor.
