The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has charged all the Corps members passing out today to embrace hardwork as the only means of getting their destiny well fulfilled.
This was contained in the message of the Director Southeast Area Office, Mrs Ngozi Nwatarali, who was represented by the Southeast Assistant Director on Corps Development, Mrs Ifeoma Ben-Ushie, during the Passing out Parade of 2021 batch ‘A’ stream II in Abakaliki Ebonyi State Capital.
She added that “if all the Corps members here were able to follow all the Entrepreneurship programs of NYSC during the service year, by now you should be thinking on how to improve the economy of this country by creating jobs for themselves and others”.
Also, the NYSC State Coordinator in Ebonyi State, Mrs Mercy Bamai Dawuda, represented by her Assistant Director Human Resources, Mr Henry John Suru prayed for God’s blessings upon the passing out Corps members and urged them to live good life as well to obey God’s Commandment.
Mr Suru added that “as you leave Ebonyi State to your various State, Jobs will locate you and you will be a source of blessings to others”.
In appreciation, a passing out Corps member, Miss Ololade Lawa from Lagos State said the service year was interesting one.
In the same vein, another Corp Member from Akwa Ibom State, Mr Mbah Inyene said Nigeria should continue to sustain the scheme and improve more on it.
It would be recalled that the total number of this Batch were 658, out of which, 14 persons service year were extended and 15 Corps members absconded.
