Namibia’s policemen “missing shifts” and “misusing their wages” because of church

After visiting certain churches, Namibia’s police head has advised officers against ignoring their duty.
Lieutenant General Sebastian Ndeitunga told police officers in the Ohangwena district that some policemen are “missing shifts” and “misusing their wages” because of the churches.
While he claimed that he had no objection to cops exercising their religious freedom, he added that they must decide if they want to stay police officers or “become pastors.”
“Dockets are missing, there are no orders, vehicles are filthy, vehicles are driven all around – there is no control,” Ndeitunga said, “while commanders become bishops and pastors.”
In addition, the police chief has ordered inquiries into policemen who have gone missing from work.
