Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed says politicians must learn from the sterling qualities of the former Governor of Oyo State, the late Alao Akala.
The Minister stated this on Saturday in Ogbomosho, the home town of the late Governor when he paid a condolence visit to commiserate with the family of the deceased.

He said, “I want the the life of late Christopher Aloa Akala to be a lesson to all of us.
He spent 71 years on earth but during his time, especially in the political turf, he became a strong rallying point.

He was with the grassroots, he was very human and accessible.
He was a man of the people and was well celebrated at home.
“

“We pray to God to continue to console and protect the family.
Whatever he hasn’t achieved yet,we pray that the children he left behind would get there and achieve that unfinished feat.
”
