In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian touched down in Sydney, Australia with her kids Penelope and Reign. She was also accompanied by her newborn, Rocky, as she joined her husband Travis Barker on part of his Blink-182 tour.
Despite the fun-filled trip, Kourtney couldn’t help but feel a tinge of sadness due to her teenage son Mason missing out.
In a candid confession, Kourtney shared how excited she was about the trip but also expressed her longing for Mason. “We made it to Australia and we’re having a blast.
Travis is touring in different cities, and after being on bedrest and having a newborn, I haven’t had many outings with my other kids.
So, I really wanted to stay in Sydney,” she explained. The show captured moments of Kourtney and her kids attempting a game of tennis, although Reign was visibly frightened by the ball.
Kourtney revealed that Mason, her 14-year-old, stayed behind with his dad. “It makes me really sad that he’s not here, but I’m making the most of every second,” she confessed.
This episode followed Penelope’s 12th birthday celebration, adding another layer to Kourtney’s mixed emotions.
During their Australian adventure, the kids shared their highlights and low points. Reign’s favorite part was the ice cream, though he was also excited about an upcoming roller coaster ride.
Penelope enjoyed the beach but was wary of a recent shark attack, while Reign was undeterred. “Eh, who cares? One person might get bitten, I’ll take the risk,” he said.
Kourtney’s Highs and Lows
Nanny Allie Garcia asked Kourtney about her own experiences. Kourtney mentioned that her peak was learning from Miranda’s family traditions, especially how her host’s mom took care of everyone.
“The only downside was the spider,” Kourtney admitted, pointing out a large spider in their footage.
“That’s the only reason I couldn’t live here—too many spiders!”
Navigating the Paparazzi
The family had a run-in with the paparazzi during their outing.
Reign, ever the comedian, greeted the photographer with a cheeky “Hi paparazzi, you stalker!” Kourtney, visibly frustrated, remarked on the omnipresence of paparazzi in Sydney.
“They’re everywhere,” she said, noting that it’s a significant reason she hasn’t been taking Rocky out much.
Keeping Up the Positivity
As they wrapped up their day, Kourtney reminded everyone, “We can’t let them ruin our time.”
The family hopped into their van, determined to make the most of their Australian adventure despite the challenges.
