Kaizer Chiefs is gearing up for the upcoming 2024/25 DStv Premiership season with significant changes, confirming the departure of six key members from their squad.
With a new technical team set to take charge next season, Chiefs have initiated a refresh of their roster, bidding farewell to five players and one crucial member of their technical staff.
Among the notable exits are Keagan Dolly, Njabulo Ngcobo, Siyethemba Sithebe, Sifiso Hlanti, and Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, alongside goalkeepers’ coach Rainer Dinkelacker, who played a pivotal role in the team.
“We’ve conducted a thorough review of the past season and have begun implementing necessary changes as part of our preparations for the new season,” the club’s management stated.
They emphasized their commitment to ensuring a strong start in August.
Coach Rainer Dinkelacker, brought in earlier for the goalkeeping department, has departed as per the terms agreed upon.
The club expressed gratitude for his contributions from Germany back to the team.
Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, who arrived on loan, has returned to his original club, Real Santa Cruz in Bolivia, following a season where he made 13 appearances but fell short of scoring.

Notably, Keagan Dolly headlines the departures, ending a tenure that saw him feature prominently in 67 matches since joining from France in 2021.
Siyethemba Sithebe and Sifiso Hlanti also bid farewell after their respective stints with the club.
