Lou Ferrigno Accuses Daughter of Elder Abuse Amid Dementia Battle

Lou Ferrigno, best known for his role as the Incredible Hulk in the 1970s TV series, has made shocking allegations against his own daughter, Shanna Ferrigno.

The actor accuses Shanna of elder abuse, claiming she is taking advantage of his wife, Carla Ferrigno, who is suffering from advanced dementia.

A Challenging Situation

Last month, Lou Ferrigno revealed that his wife of 43 years, Carla, is battling dementia.

He described her condition as having “severe memory impairment and psychosis,” drastically changing the person she once was.

Despite his iconic Hulk persona, Lou is facing the real-life challenges of caring for a spouse with advanced dementia.

Legal Action Against Daughter

Lou Ferrigno is now pursuing legal action against his daughter, Shanna, and Carla’s sister, Pam Vog.

He alleges that they are attempting to access Carla’s assets and accuses them of “financially exploiting” her.

The Attempted Withdrawal

In court documents obtained by The Blaze, Lou Ferrigno claims that his wife was coerced into trying to withdraw a substantial sum of $500,000, despite her medical assessment deeming her unfit to manage her affairs.

According to the documents, Shanna and Pam took Carla to a bank to execute this withdrawal.

Protecting Carla’s Assets

The bank’s alert prompted Lou to take immediate action.

He temporarily froze the account to prevent the withdrawal, fearing the irreversible harm it could cause Carla if the funds were taken.

Isolation and Manipulation Allegations

Lou Ferrigno asserts that his daughter and sister-in-law have been working to turn Carla against him.

They have allegedly isolated her and influenced her to harbor hostilities toward him.

These emotional and psychological tactics are deemed elder abuse, which may exacerbate Carla’s advanced dementia.

Trustee of the Family Finances

As the trustee of the family trust, Lou Ferrigno emphasizes that he should be the sole authority in charge of their finances.

He accuses his daughter of attempting to “commandeer Carla” by taking her to her own house and poisoning her mind against him.

Seeking a Restraining Order

Lou Ferrigno is seeking a restraining order to prevent anyone except himself from accessing their bank accounts.

He firmly believes that allowing others, including his daughter, to access the funds would be detrimental to Carla’s care.
