The creators of the popular sitcom Friends have paid tribute to Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the show, following his unexpected death at the age of 54.
In a joint statement, Marta Kauffman, David Crane, and Kevin Bright said that they were “shocked and deeply, deeply saddened” by Perry’s death. They remembered him as a “brilliant talent” with a “giving and selfless heart.”
