Nigerian skitmaker and activist, Adebowale Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, has called for the release of #EndSARS protesters who are still languishing in detention three years after the mass protests.
In a statement made during a peace walk to commemorate the third anniversary of the Lekki shooting, Mr Macaroni said that the peace walk was aimed at honouring those whose lives were lost in the tragic incident.
He also called on those concerned to grant unconditional release to all #EndSARS protesters still imprisoned.
Mr Macaroni said that the peace walk was also a reminder of the need for justice for the victims of the Lekki shooting and for an end to police brutality in Nigeria.
