Early morning drone assault by Ukrainian forces disrupts operations at Redkino Experimental Plant in Tver, Russia

In the early hours of Thursday, June 27, four Ukrainian drones targeted the Redkino Experimental Plant (JSC ROZ) in the Tver region.

The first wave of attacks began around 2:00 AM with three drones.

One drone crashed into the roof of a workshop, causing an explosion.

Another was shot down by air defense forces, crashing near a workshop and exploding.

The third drone attempted to attack the plant’s territory and ended up damaging a pipeline.

About two hours later, a fourth drone attacked the same workshop area.

Despite the severity of the attacks, no injuries were reported.

The Redkino plant, which has been manufacturing unique chemical products, including aviation fuel, for the Russian aviation and space industry for decades, remains operational.

The plant has a history of collaboration with leading scientists and was once the largest experimental enterprise in the Ministry of Chemical Industry.

Broader Drone Offensive

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched seven drones in total across the Moscow, Tver, and Belgorod regions on the night of June 27.

Air defense systems successfully intercepted four drones over Tver, two over Moscow, and one over Belgorod.
