In a significant appointment, President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha to take on the role of Director-General and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN).

He earned a Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Renewable Energy.
Furthermore, he pursued a Post-Doctoral Fellowship as a Research Associate in the School of Engineering at the esteemed University of Manchester.
This academic background is expected to equip him with the knowledge and expertise needed to drive advancements in the energy sector.
