The 21-year-old appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court and was subsequently remanded into custody. He faces charges of escaping custody from HMP Wandsworth, an incident that allegedly occurred on a Wednesday. Following his arrest, he was taken into custody by authorities.

Before the alleged escape, Khalife had been in remand at Wandsworth Prison. He faced charges related to terrorism offenses, with the initial arrest occurring in January. His legal proceedings continue, and he is scheduled to make his next appearance at the Old Bailey on September 29.
