Reports confirmed that around 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, four armed assailants launched an attack on the Wisdom supermarket at Adehi, Karu. During the assault, the attackers indiscriminately fired at customers, resulting in the tragic deaths of four individuals.

Ramhan Nansel, the Nasarawa police spokesperson, verified the incident, highlighting that one of the deceased individuals possessed an identity card from the Central Bank of Nigeria, as seen in a video captured post-incident.

Commissioner’s Response and Investigation

Confirming the brutal attack, Nansel revealed that the Commissioner of Police, Umar Nadada, has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigative Department (SCID) to lead a thorough investigation into the matter.
