Oath Ceremony for Newly Appointed Judges
On Wednesday, Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Olukayode Ariwoola is scheduled to preside over the swearing-in of twenty-three newly appointed judges of the Federal High Court.
The official oath-taking ceremony will take place at the Main Courtroom of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Official Announcement by Court’s Director of Information
Festus Akande, the Director of Information for the court, issued a statement on Sunday providing details of the upcoming event.
He also listed the names of the newly appointed judges, hailing from various states across Nigeria.

Valedictory Court Session in Honor of Late Justice Chima Centus Nweze
Additionally, the statement highlighted a valedictory court session to be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in memory of the late Justice Chima Centus Nweze.
This event will take place at the Main Courtroom of the Supreme Court and is intended to pay tribute to the departed jurist, who passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the age of 64 following a brief illness.
Tributes and Honors
The valedictory session will feature the presentation of tributes by key figures, including the Hon.
Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chairman of the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, and President of the Nigerian Bar Association, in honor of Justice Chima Centus Nweze.
