Canadian ‘poison vendor’ is accused of selling deadly chemicals worldwide and is now facing fresh charges.

A Canadian man has been charged with 12 additional offenses after allegedly distributing deadly drugs to help people commit suicide around the world, including in the UK.

After reportedly sending 1,200 parcels to 40 different nations, Kenneth Law was apprehended in Ontario and first charged with two counts of counseling and aiding suicide.

On Tuesday, Inspector Simon James of the Canadian York Police revealed that 11 police units in Ontario were looking into the 57-year-old.
He claimed that as of late 2020, Law had reportedly been utilizing the websites to market the deadly chemicals.
According to the officer, each of the new charges relates to a deceased person and only applies to the province of Ontario.

Outside of Canada, the National Crime Agency announced that it had opened a separate investigation into the 88 deaths of UK residents who had purchased products from websites that sold drugs to aid in suicide.
Police in the US, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand are also looking into crimes.
In total, 272 UK residents were found to have made purchases from the websites over a two-year period ending in April 2023.

88 of them, according to the NCA, have passed away.
Inspector James said the force was “regularly in contact with police services from outside the country” during the press briefing.
Prior to the additional charges on Tuesday, Law had a brief bail hearing on Friday in Brampton, Ontario.

On September 8, the defendant, who is from Mississauga, Ontario, is scheduled to appear in the same court.
