Bruce Springsteen Embraces Billionaire Status with Stylish Yacht Party in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat Featuring Friends Steven Spielberg, Bono, and The Edge

Bruce Springsteen is really living it up as a newly minted billionaire. The Boss, at 74, was spotted looking effortlessly stylish while yachting with friends in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France.

He embraced a laid-back, daddy-chic vibe with a red short-sleeve button-down shirt, left open to show off a bit of chest hair and a silver necklace.

His outfit was rounded off with some loose army green pants splattered with paint, and he went barefoot on the spacious yacht. To shield his eyes from the sun, he opted for sleek metal shades.

Springsteen’s yacht party was not short on star power. He was seen catching up and hugging old friends like Steven Spielberg, Bono, and The Edge. Spielberg, at 77, kept it casual in a light button-down shirt tucked into jeans with a dark leather belt.

Bono, 64, went for a relaxed look with a black button-down shirt, untucked, paired with black pants, a straw fedora, round orange sunglasses, and black sandals

The Edge, 62, also sported an all-black outfit, including a short-sleeve button-down shirt, a matching baseball cap, and sunglasses.

From Music Icon to Billionaire

This luxurious yacht outing comes on the heels of Forbes revealing in June that Springsteen’s net worth has skyrocketed to $1.1 billion. Although Springsteen’s representatives haven’t confirmed Forbes’ estimate, it’s clear his financial success is tied to some major deals.

In 2021, he sold his multi-platinum music catalog to Sony Music Entertainment for around $500-$550 million.

On top of that, Springsteen made a significant amount from touring, having sold over 1.6 million concert tickets last year, which generated $380 million in revenue.

 Biopic in the Works

Aside from his financial achievements, Springsteen is also involved in some exciting projects. He and his manager, Jon Landau, are working on a biopic about the musician, starring Jeremy Allen White.

This film, based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 book *Deliver Me From Nowhere*, will focus on the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 album *Nebraska*.

Known for its raw and personal content, *Nebraska* was recorded in a rented New Jersey house while Springsteen and the E Street Band were working on *Born in the USA*. White is expected to begin filming in New Jersey this fall, after wrapping up the fourth season of *The Bear* in Chicago.
