This concept follows the minimalist Neue Klasse concept saloon revealed in 2023 and lays the foundation for the next generation of BMW’s X lineup.

The Neue Klasse X concept embodies BMW’s vision for a future-proof SAV, combining efficient electric powertrains with enhanced performance and sustainable practices.

The carmaker promises a significant range increase, faster charging times, and improved aerodynamics.

Next-Gen Electric Drivetrain and Increased Range

The concept utilizes the sixth generation of BMW’s eDrive electric technology, boasting a 30% increase in range and 30% faster charging speeds.

This translates to an estimated 186 miles of range achievable in just 10 minutes of charging.

High-Performance ‘Super-Brains’ for Enhanced Driving Experience

The Neue Klasse X features a new generation of high-performance computers dubbed “super-brains.” These AI-powered systems work together to optimize driving dynamics, precision, efficiency, and overall driving enjoyment.

One super-brain is specifically dedicated to autonomous driving functions.

Sustainability remains a core principle for BMW. The Neue Klasse X will incorporate recycled materials extensively, including ocean plastic waste and plant-based alternatives for interior surfaces.
