Khabo Zondo, a seasoned PSL coach, recently shared his perspective on Sead Ramovic, the mentor of TS Galaxy.
Recently, there was speculation about Ramovic potentially leaving his position at TS Galaxy, with Moroccan powerhouse Raja Casablanca showing interest.
However, the move fell through as an agreement couldn’t be reached between the two sides.
After parting ways with Royal AM in 2023, Zondo, who has since earned his CAF B coaching license, has been searching for new opportunities.
A few months ago, he had the chance to work alongside Ramovic and his technical team at The Rockets, an experience he values highly.
Zondo expressed his appreciation to chairman Tim Sukazi and Ramovic for giving him this chance, especially after facing several rejections from other PSL teams.
Zondo’s Praise for Ramovic
In reflecting on his time with Ramovic, Zondo described him as one of the top coaches in the PSL. He noted that Ramovic has made significant improvements to Galaxy, turning average players into standout performers.
Last season, under Ramovic’s guidance, Galaxy secured a sixth-place finish in the league and reached the Carling Knockout Cup final.
Ramovic has worked with players like Melusi Buthelezi, Given Msimango, Fiacre Ntwari, Bathusi Aubaas, and Lehloholo Mojela, helping them develop their skills and elevate their game.
Zondo shared his thoughts with FARPost, saying, “I’m truly grateful for the opportunity I received from Sead Ramovic, Tim Sukazi, and the entire TS Galaxy family.
Working with him was an eye-opener; he’s not just a fantastic coach but also a genuinely humble and approachable person. TS Galaxy is fortunate to have him.”
He added, “Coach Sead has an excellent rapport with his players and technical team, which is crucial for long-term success.
It’s only a matter of time before a big team comes knocking for his services, and I’m confident he will continue to excel.”
