Travis Kelce recently wrapped up an exciting European summer, balancing time with Taylor Swift and his football commitments.

At 34, Kelce used the opportunity to follow Swift, also 34, across Europe during her Eras Tour.

He enjoyed a mix of work and leisure with family and friends, soaking up every moment before returning to his training camp in Missouri.

A source close to the couple shared with PEOPLE how challenging it was for Kelce to leave Swift behind as he headed back to the States.

Their final concerts together in Germany were described as bittersweet.

“Travis knew their time together was winding down and made sure to cherish every second with Taylor,” the insider revealed.

Navigating a Busy Schedule

Despite their hectic schedules, Swift and Kelce manage to stay close, making the most of their time together between concerts and football games.

Swift even went the extra mile to attend the Super Bowl in February, demonstrating their commitment to making their relationship work despite the physical distance.

“It’s tough to be apart, but they do everything possible to support each other,” the source said.

“Their love is evident to everyone around them.”

Kelce’s Return to Football

Meanwhile, Kelce is back in football mode, focusing on his role with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He’s not only been working on his football skills but also spent time filming for “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity” and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series “Grotesquerie.”

Kelce showed up at training camp on July 21 sporting his signature ‘Killa stache,’ which the Chiefs proudly highlighted on Instagram.

The Chiefs are gearing up for a three-peat, with their first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars set for August 15.

Their regular season kicks off on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Swift’s Tour Continues

While Kelce is back on the field, Swift is busy with her Eras Tour, performing in Hamburg and Munich this week before heading to Poland.

Her record-breaking tour will return to the U.S. in October.
