The confrontation took place in the Monguno Local Government Area of the state and involved the Sector 3 multi-national joint task force (MNJTF).
Additionally, a separate operation was conducted by the Nigerian Army in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna to raid bandits’ hideouts.
