…By Dorcas Funmi for TDPel Media. Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko and other prominent figures from the entertainment industry have expressed their condolences following the passing of actor Don Brymo Uchegbu, who died at the age of 56.
The veteran actor, known for his notable contributions to the film industry, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday night, as confirmed by his colleague and close friend, Mayor Ofoegbu.
Destiny Etiko, who had collaborated with Don Brymo on numerous projects, took to Instagram to pay her respects, stating that his memory would endure forever.
In her heartfelt post, she wrote, “May your soul rest in peace, sir. You will forever be remembered.”
Actor Iyke Olisa also expressed his grief through an Instagram tribute.
Sharing a picture of himself with Don Brymo, he referred to the late actor as his best partner, best friend, best actor, and cherished companion.
Iyke Olisa mourned the loss and wrote, “He just passed away early this morning.
Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! Rest in peace, dear friend.
I can’t believe I won’t see you again.
Oh God! Rest in peace to the most powerful actor I know in Nollywood.”
Another actor, Junior Pope, joined in the remembrances on Instagram, emphasizing that although everyone must face mortality, true heroes never truly die.
He expressed that Don Brymo would live on forever in their memories, concluding with the message, “Rest well, Don Brymo.”
Don Brymo’s talent and versatility were showcased in numerous films, including “Anger of a Wonder Girl,” “Ikemba,” “Ritual of Vengeance,” and “Wedding in Nigeria.”
His contributions to the Nigerian film industry will be remembered and celebrated for years to come.
