The Welsh Rugby Union has stated that Carre did not meet the expectations set by the coaching team, leading to his exclusion from the squad.
Replacement Options for Carre’s Absence
With Carre no longer part of the squad, Wales coach Warren Gatland has several options to consider.
Ospreys pair Nicky Smith and Gareth Thomas, uncapped Cardiff prop Corey Domachowski, and Scarlets youngster Kemsley Mathias are among the alternatives available.
