The head of the media unit of the British High Commission in Abuja, Dean Hurlock, confirmed this, stating that the delegation will be led by the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for the inauguration, the Rt. Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, along with other prominent officials.

The US Embassy in Abuja had previously revealed that their delegation would be led by Marcia L. Fudge, US Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and would include various representatives from the US mission to Nigeria, such as chargé d’affaires David Greene and Democratic Representative Sydney Kamlager-Dove.

Canada also announced its representation at the inauguration, with Hon. Ahmed Husain, Minister of Housing Diversity and Inclusion, set to attend.

India, through its High Commission in Abuja, confirmed that a delegation would be present, likely led by a minister.

The Chinese authorities at the Embassy in Abuja expressed their intention to send a team from the Chinese government to show solidarity with Nigeria and strengthen bilateral ties, although specific details were yet to be confirmed.

Additionally, it was reported that Sierra Leone’s President Julius Mada Bio was expected to lead a robust delegation to the inauguration, further highlighting the international presence expected at the event.
