Apparently this is not new in South Africa, one Twitter repsonder said “I helped to put those Vaal business robbers in jail last November. The biggest problem is Senior Police Officer. One Flying Squad member told me they don’t raid Pakistani/Somali shops for illegal cigarette because once they do, Senior Captain fool tells them to stop the raids”

Please MEC, just come to Kempton Park. Some of us can’t even walk there cause the town is scary. The police do nothing, they see this people selling stolen phones next to Chicken licken but don’t care.

However, some South Africans believe that these crimes are committed by foreigners becuase of the passport.
Foreigners have established themselves well in this country, the bar is very low. The passports and drugs in the same sentence means their Nationality is questionable until further investigations. Thanks, you must be a minister of police by now.
