Korea reports 36,719 new COVID-19 cases

SEOUL, 8th February, 2022 – South Korea reported 36,719 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, raising the total to 1,081,681, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said on Tuesday.

According to Yonhap news agency, 36 more deaths were confirmed due to the infection, leaving the death toll at 6,922.
