Ajman Crown Prince briefed on Ajman Administrative Census Project

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, was briefed on the preliminary results of Ajman Administrative Census Project, the Population Self-Enumeration Platform and vital statistical indicators during a meeting with Dr.
Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, Secretary-General of the Ajman Executive Council, and Dr.
Hajar Saeed Al-Hubaishi, Executive Director of Ajman Statistics & Competitiveness Center (ASCC).
Present at the meeting was Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman, and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Administrative Census in Ajman Emirate.
Sheikh Ammar said statistics help decision-makers to develop strategic plans for the prosperity of both local citizens and residents.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi noted that the geographical coverage had reached 100 percent.
He said the Government of Ajman seeks to create a central registry in order to provide data on population and housing and prepare a database of demographic, economic and social data on the population in order to put it in the hands of decision-makers.
The Census Project was launched by ASCC in 2020 to provide comprehensive and detailed statistical data on the entire population and their demographic, social and economic characteristics,
which contribute to evaluating the demographic situation of the Emirate.
The Project seeks to collect statistical data and establish a central register to include data of the population, buildings, houses and facilities, as well as provide high quality, inclusive and updated data.
