Itumeleng Khune reveals how he’ll spend his DStv Compact Cup money

Itumeleng Khune won the DStv Compact Cup at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, which means both pride and money in his bank account.
Warriors FC were declared champions of the new Compact Cup in the DStv Premiership last weekend. Ruzaigh Gamildien scored a brace to lead Swallows FC to a 2-1 victory over Coastal United.
Following the festivities, Itumeleng Khune was eager to grasp the chance. The Amakhosi goalie got his hands on the TV microphone before moving on to interview players on the pitch.
The video sees the 34-year-old goalkeeper chat to Kaizer Chiefs’ rising star Sabelo Radebe, Bruce Bvuma and his goalkeeper coach for the Compact Cup, and lastly Orlando Pirates veteran Happy Jele.
Bvuma also took the moment to ask Itumeleng Khune what’s he’ll use the winning cash for.
The former Bafana Bafana star said he will simply invest it in his two children. Check out the video below…

Following one supporters’ tweet on the Twitter platform about Khune’s future, the former Bafana Bafana star was quick to send out a firm reply.
The Twitter user with the handle @oyama_yaya simply imagined how emotional it would be to witness Kaizer Chiefs’ Khune retire one day.
“Khune deserves a farewell match. I’ll shed tears when he retires,” he said.
The legendary goalkeeper, who is sometimes known as “Mzansi’s number one,” responded with a short but firm statement. The veteran suggested that the idea is still a distant possibility.
“I’m not going to retire anytime soon Fam,” Khune said before adding a wink and praying hands emojis.
