Michael Jackson’s Mention in Epstein Documents: Witness Testimonies
Recently unsealed court documents tied to the case of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein have brought forth the name of Michael Jackson, albeit without any allegations of wrongdoing against the late pop star.
Epstein Case and Witness Depositions:
The unsealed files, part of a lawsuit filed by victim Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s girlfriend, revealed witness depositions related to Epstein’s associations.
Maxwell, convicted in 2021 for aiding Epstein in recruiting and abusing underage victims, was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Michael Jackson’s Mention in Depositions:
During a witness deposition in May 2016, Sigrid McCawley, Giuffre’s lawyer, questioned an Epstein accuser about encounters with prominent figures associated with the financier.
The witness mentioned meeting Michael Jackson at both Epstein’s and Jackson’s houses in Palm Beach but denied giving Jackson a massage.
Confirmation and Absence of Accusations:
Further questioning by Laura Menninger, Maxwell’s attorney, reiterated the witness’s meeting with Jackson but again denied any massage involvement.
Importantly, there were no allegations of wrongdoing against Jackson in these documents.
Public Reaction and Social Media Claims:
After the documents’ unsealing, social media speculations suggested the inclusion of several prominent musicians, but a search of the official court documents did not confirm these rumors.
The emergence of Michael Jackson’s name within the unsealed documents has triggered intrigue, shedding light on his connections without any accusations directed at the pop icon.
