Shinead Welsh, 32, from Sharpness, Gloucestershire, unexpectedly gave birth to her first child, Alfie, in the back of a Mini Cooper while en route to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

Her family members were driving her to the hospital due to pregnancy cramps, but they realized they wouldn’t make it in time.

Surrounded by Support and Cows

As labor intensified, they pulled over on a country lane near the Fromebridge Mill pub off the A38 at the Whitminster roundabout.
